NOOSA-Amsterdam
The Celts, ancient Greeks, Japanese and Etruscans were familiar with the triskel. Initially, the symbol denoted the movement of the sun across the firmament, which has three main points: sunrise, zenith, and sunset. Interestingly, the triskel was venerated before the cross and the swastika. It also symbolizes the triplicity of being: birth, life, and eternal rest. Implying the passage of time, the ancient figure appeared on the coat of arms of the Isle of Man and the flag of Sicily. Chunk gives the wearer peace of mind, protection, and vitality.
